Connecticut Plastics produces high quality plastic blanks for use in machining. Manufactured to the customer's specifications, we can meet even the most demanding tolerancing.

Unavailable elsewhere, we can provide plastic blanks that are dimensionally stabalized. This service will minimize warpage and size change due to the machining process. Softer plastics and geometrically unbalanced designs benefit from this step.

Our stabalization process also lowers the blank stress reducing the likelihood of stress cracking for those materials sensitive to the condition. In some cases, it is recommended that stress relieving occur after machining also.

For transparent materials, Connecticut Plastics can produce plastic blanks fully polished. Typical materials that polish well are Acrylic, Polycarbonate, Ultem and Polysulfone.

Plastic blanks will be cut to your specifications. Options include:

• Saw cut
• Machine cut to specified tolerances
• Round or square stock
• Dimensionally stabalized for close tolerance work
• Polished
